From project initiation to close and handoff, ETCI strives to follow PMI project management best practices and methodology.  In addition, ETCI believes that careful attention to ITIL standards when outlining Information Technology services to be implemented also is a proving ground for great results, again and again.

Special attention is given to documentation at all phases of each project.

Project success depends on disciplined leadership and experienced execution.  Every member of ETCI Customer Service is devoted to successful completion of project deliverables through key attention to the following phases:

Initiate

Account and Project Managers are brought in early in the process (often during the final phases of sales) to ensure that Service Level Agreements match ETCI and industry best practices.

Plan

To ensure that all project requirements are met, Project Managers and Project Engineers focus on defining the scope of a project from contract guidelines, hardware and software vendor recommendations, and customer needs.  If additional resources are required, your project management team will coordinate these activities. 

Execute

Proper execution is achieved through tested Standard Operating Procedures, Industry Best Practices, and ITIL standards.  

Monitor and Control

Regular recurring meetings are held throughout all customer implementations to ensure that your are informed of progress, allowed to have input in any changes that may affect production, and that proper Change Management processes are upheld.

ETCI feels strongly in teaching the customer what you did.  We believe that proper training is up to 40% of what makes a project a success.  Documentation of a project through each phase makes this process much easier and really adds to our customer satisfaction ratings.

Project Specialties

ETCI has specific expertise in virtualization.  While virtualization has been around for a few years, ETCI has subject matter expertise with Physical to Virtual (PtoV) solutions, Microsoft Exchange migrations, hosted application performance tuning, SharePoint implementation, Active Directory tuning and migrations, and Microsoft Small Business Server. Our engineers are trained and work every day in VMWare ESX environments, too.
